There are of course also the F.M.S. Guides in the Ma

lay Pen., but they are now to be employed out of the

Peninsula, probably at Aden, and the Govt. of India

is in corresp. with the Gov. S.S. about it.

I would give Mr. Stewart the purport of the first

part of par. 7 of this and say that the S. of S. is

of course watching the situation very closely with

a view to avoiding danger to our Colonies.
